This post outlines upcoming changes and important dates for the Guild Advancement Program (GAP) and what they mean for YGG’s activities moving forward. The goal is to keep things transparent and ensure everyone has time to prepare for what's ahead!
Season 10 will officially be the final season of the Guild Advancement Program (GAP).
This means that the current quest pages, rewards maps, and the yieldguild.io platform will soon come to a close. But this is not the end of questing with YGG—this marks a new chapter with our community members and guilds, where our beloved web3 games, Future of Work partners, YGG community activities, and bounties will still be featured. YGG will be transitioning to a new platform with updated tools, rewards, and formats for engagement.
The team is also cooking up some new and exciting things under the YGG Play initiative! So stay tuned for announcements about these over the next months.
In the meantime, YGG is working hard to make sure everyone is recognized for their achievements and contributions in GAP, and that no one gets left behind during this transition.
To date, YGG has conducted 10 seasons of the Guild Advancement Program, each season bigger than the last. GAP rewarded participation, engagement, skilled contributors, and encouraged friendly competition among our guilds and competitive gamers. From games, to Future of Work quests, to leaderboards, and bounties, the team thanks each and every participant who has joined YGG on this questing journey!
Since the current season is going to be the last, GAP Season 10 is officially extended until August 1, 2025 11:59PM UTC, from July 11, 2025 previously. This means that there will be no enrollments accepted anymore after this date.
Quests, bounties, and guild activities will continue on after GAP Season 10, but will take on a new format. New quests from old and new games and partners will be available to the community in August, 2025. We will be providing more updates on how users can continue to participate in YGG questing soon.
Player and guild achievements will not be forgotten. These are still available in your current YGG profile page as reference, and all badges received since GAP Season 1 can still be viewable onchain.
YGG will be holding a Community AMA with Gabby and representatives from the Global Community Team to answer all of the community’s questions about this transition. Following this, there will also be Q&A segments at the end of each of our weekly Global Hangouts in July to address more questions.
Due to the extension, certain quests are affected and will be updated, taking into account the new GAP dates:
